Looking at this work of nature, the phrase becomes clear - terribly beautiful. The entrance leading, perhaps, to the center of the planet. The crystal clear water of Jacob's Well creates the illusion of emptiness. A very beautiful but eerie surprise from nature.

The story of Jacob's well

Well for tourists

Jacob's Well beckons many tourists with its mysteriousness. The depth of the well makes its bottom inaccessible to sight. Therefore, it seems to be infinite, and the water is so transparent that the illusion of emptiness is created. Adrenaline is guaranteed for those wishing to jump into this abyss. This work of nature attracts both extreme lovers and ordinary tourists here. The artists love him very much. Against the backdrop of a paradise landscape, cypress trees growing along the coast, this phenomenon suddenly appears in the calm clear waters of the stream. Despite the euphonious biblical name, it looks a little devilish. A perfect setting for a film about the mysteries of nature. Here you can shoot a jump into the unknown without stuntmen.

The well is visited not only by those who like to dive into crystal clear water and enjoy a flight into the void. It is quite easy to do this from coastal rocks. It is necessary to prepare the camera and find a comfortable angle. Thanks to the unusual effect, a dizzying photo session is ensured. In the photographs, it seems that a person is jumping or walking towards his death. Many people think that this is a photomontage. The well itself is only the entrance to the labyrinth of underwater caves that have existed for many millennia. Underwater caves attract divers here, for whom unknown, unexplored places are better than any resorts. So far, only four caves are known. But this is because the well is very tricky and has already claimed the lives of several divers trying to unravel its secret. Even very experienced researchers cannot yet answer - how deep this well really is and what is there at the bottom.

The first cave, about seven meters in diameter, is at a depth of about nine meters, so there is enough light for the growth of plants and the existence of fish. The passage to the next cave is rather narrow. This can be a trap for the inexperienced swimmer. The cave goes down to 20-25 meters in depth. Further along a dark narrow corridor you can get into the third of the famous caves. It is completely dark there, so it is difficult to properly examine and determine its size.

The fourth cave is the most unexplored, so it was even given the name Virgin. It is the most dangerous of the four, because its bottom is entirely composed of limestone deposits. Any movement raises them from the bottom and it is impossible to find a way out in the muddy water. The maximum depth to which the caves have been explored is about 40 meters. So far, no one knows what further, but despite the dangers, divers still do not give up hopes of finding out all the secrets of Jacob's Well.
